50mph e-maxx

Well, my e-maxx isn't as fast as I thought it was. It still had a little more left in it. It trapped a 10.2 at the drag strip tonight and ran 50mph but I wasn't completely in it, was trying not to wreck it. It's prob. not much faster than that though.
1/8 mile not 1/4 I was easing it down the 60 foot though trying not to ride a wheelie.

what gearing are you useing? pinion and spur?

Huge pinion, not sure what size it is, like a 28tooth or something, spur i'm not sure. it's prob. whatever they come with stock.

Just for the record it flipped before, at or a little past the finish line, I wasn't down there far enough to see where it was. When I got to it, it was about 15 feet past the finish line after it flipped several times. Maybe a little farther.

ok, thanks, just wondering cause I'm running a 775 single in my emaxx and want more top end but can't use smaller spur cause the 20 tooth pinion wont mesh with the 65tooth spur and not sure if 22 pinion will fit, with single motor plate

This had dual motors on it before I bought it, the guy pulled them off and put the castle mamba monster on it. 2200kv or something. I might throw a 3,000kv + 1/10 motor on it for one pass just to see what it will do before it flings the magnets. I got a losi 7600 or something like that rite now... Humm!!!!!!! LoL
