I'm turning to the pro's for some tuning tips..
My 5.9 has had a gallon thru it now and I'm trying to tune it for full power (in a a safe range without over-leaning) I've got the hsn to the point where another 1/8 th turn starts to bog it out off the start, with plenty of blue smoke still showing through all rpm ranges.
My high speed is awesome same as mid speed but what I'm looking for is that snap off the line.
Almost everyone says not to touch the mid or low speed needles from factory flush but wouldn't leaning out the lsn increase my off the line start?

The LSN controls the takeoff. Start to lean it little by little till you get a good punch off the line. Keep an eye on your temps. Leaning it too far brings up the temp, and you can't change that with the HSN.

awesome, i figured that but needed a little confirmation before I started playin with stuff.
Thanks for the help

You rarely need to reset the LSN once you have it right, but you'll need to tweak the HSN regularly to compensate for outside temp and humidity.
Now, set your LSN and go burn some rubber.

a good way to test the lsn for good tune is the pinch test, start the truck and get it up to temp, at idle kink the fuel line off and it should idle between 3-4 seconds before shuting off. less your to lean on the lsn, more your to rich on the lsn.

Ya I had to lean mine out a lot on the LSN it was just a dog off the line, as I leaned it more and more the smile on my face got bigger and bigger then it was tuned and worked extremely well. FYI I was at 800 ft ASL and running in 75-80 degree weather.

I'm deffinatelly gonna try it out tomorrow!!
