So I sucked all the nitro out before storing it for the season. Now after a year off it won't start. Put a new glow plug and clean nitro in it. Pumped it for more than a few seconds multiple times. Just won't fire up, what are the odds the motor after 2.5 gallons of nitro and sitting is toast or I need to pull it apart....Any ideas? Is it easier to replace than to take it apart and clean it up? Any ideas on places or websites to get different bodies for it?

I would say the carb may be gummed up some. I would at least do a tear down and clean it up real good and put it back together with some good copper sealant. A lot of times the nitro fuel gels up in the carb needles.

Any recommendations to videos or where to find some directiosn? What about micro sized parts in the carb? Any warnings?

You may also want to make sure you are getting fuel to the carb.

Griff is correct. You may have a plugged fuel inline also. But if the fuel line is plugged from sitting it would be a safe bet the carb is prob to also. Those K5.9 engines are prone to air leaks anyhow so a tear down and cleaning would not hurt anyhow. I know my 5.9 had more air leaks then any other engine I have owned so far. Not saying there a bad engine by no means though. Here's avid from squirrel on how to seal your nitro engine. There are others on youtube also.

Thanks man.

I will say I am seeing splatter of spots of nitro out the exhaust even though it's not running.

May be a dumb question but you have checked the glow plug right? Also fuel may be coming out of the pipe but that doesn't mean it's getting the correct amount of fuel. Have you tore the engine down and cleaned it yet.
