5.9 engine temp way high

Well folks once again my truck needs help. I have sealed the engine and checked for air leaks, everything seems fine,the lsn and hsn are set rich ,just having the truck idleling on a stand ,the temp gets up to 280,if I run the trruck even higher, does anyone know what the hell is going on with this ? very FRUSTRATING !!!! :\

something is leaning it out have you started from the stock carb settings?

I heard your not suppose to let them idle too long, try setting them so it will run, so some highspeed passes and bring it in. If its still hot rich it more.....FYI thats if you dont have an air leak....

Drive it and see if the temp goes down. If it doesn't, it's usually a sign of the LSN being too lean. You can't change that with the HSN.
