I got used tmaxx 3.3 4909 a while back, it had a small spur (54 I think) that I swapped to a larger one (58 I think)

I have put a lot of weight on this thing.... aluminum everything, roll cage ect....

What size bell gear came on the 4909 ? and how small can i go? (what is available) to make a wheelie machine.

I am not worried about top speed..... its plenty fast enough to beak everything on the truck LOL.

I have the biggest spur I am aware of allready.

Back tot he bell...... what came on it? What smaller sizes are available?

what clutch do you have? 2 or 3 shoes? most bells are interchangable(have been finding out myself about that) and like i said 1 or 2 teeth down on the spir smaller the gear on the clutch the more torque and wheelies!

I just bought and replaced the clutch bell on my 3.3. they come stock with 22teeth. I think the smallest they make is 18 teeth??

I put a 19 on my 4908 from a 2.5 with the stock 58 spur. Turned it into a real screamer, wheelies from a dead stop all the way through second gear, but my truck still weighs stock. The 2.5 clutch bell fit right on the 3.3 with no problems and I didn't have to adjust my shift points either.

Its a 2 shoe clutch. I went ahead and ordered a 20 tooth bell. ( I had a 22 )
