Okay i have an older maxx 2.5r with a 3.3 engine. Well i bought it used with dual locked diffs and i want the diff action back. I am wondering though, will the new 4908 diffs, from a revo, fit in the 4902? or will i have to buy new casing because the pinon gear is shorter on the revo and 4908 maxx. and then if i do that will my CVD's fit it or will i have to buy new ones?

Thanks,
Zachary

It would probly be alot easier to just buy 4902 diffs, then every thing you have now will still work.

i run t-maxx 3.3 diffs front and rear in my 2.5 maxx-they bolt right in, but(theres always a but)-lol. u either have to upgrade the knuckles(hubs) to 3.3 maxx's ones(like the revo) and 3.3 maxx shafts will bolt right in or u have to change where the wheel att. back to the 2.5 ones and then shim w/ washers cause there will be play in them. I've had mine in for over a year w/o any problems.
