I've got the newer 4908 Maxx and Iv been looking for a roll cage or a roll bar. Unforunatly I can't find one to fit my model. Dose anyone know where i can find one? Also I'm thinking about going with the big bore shocks. Wich spring and oil sett up would you recomend for jummping? Iv heard that alum A arms are a bad idea for bashing so what are some good arms. Last but not least. When it comes to the bulk heads and their braces, the shock towers, and the body mounts. To alum or not to alum that is the question!

I would go with RPM a arms. They seem to have awesome durability and if you break one you can send it back and they will replace it for free as long as you have done anything to destroy the integrity of the hardware. In ect. cutting on it drilling it out .ect.ect.

I guess I should have read further into the thread. Check towerhobbies.com

I have the RPM "True Track" rear setup, front A-arms, Traxxas BIG BORE shocks w/ 50 wt oil, RC Raven Progressive rate springs and RPM shock towers. It seems to be pretty forgiving with me at the wheel. They soak up some really high speed whoops and bumps that I think would flip a stock suspended truck. I also have RD Logics Claws Tires and rims that are the 7" tall ones which help with the soaking up of the bumps. Off of about a 2' jump, if you don't flip either backwards or forwards it will drive out of it about 90% of the time. I was gonna put stock tires back on to see what kind of a difference it makes but I only have 3 stockers. Hope this helps.

Are the tru track worth the 80$ price tag for both sides. Or is there a cheaper alturnitave.

When I purchased the truck they were already on it so I can't comment on the money part. I will tell you that I drove a stock 4908 and it seemed like it was always on the edge of rolling or crashing off of the same jump. Like I said I am no guru by any means but my truck with its current set up feels extremely stable. I was driving it Saturday through a construction area that was fairly smooth but had dirt clods anywhere from little 2-3" kickers up to 12" mounds and it handled it all fairly easily. Sometimes even at speeds right before shifting. I have a Picco .26 with 44/18 gearing and the big tires so right before 2nd gear on my truck is a fairly high rate of speed. i don't know any cheaper alternatives. Some of these more experienced guys may be able to help you out with that.

dose anybody know if the stock wheelie bar will work with the RPM step bumper?
