4 wheel steering on Revo

that sounds cool but nearly impossible youd have to put the front end on the rear and mod the heck out of the chassis its alady set for two steering servos so youd just two high torques

What are you going to be doing with this Revo? It would be cool if you're not going to be running it, but I don't think it would function good or hold up for racing or bashing. And you're obviously not going to be crawling with it.

Actually, when you remove the bumper mount you have a perfect place to attach a mounting plate for your servo. You will need a heavy duty servo saver and a nice strong servo. Now from there you need to remove the stock tie rods and add some longer ones to reach the servo horn. That is really all it would take because the rear is configured very much like the front as far as the hub carriers are concerned. Now as far as running with 4 wheel steering, it is way touchy. You probably want a radio with a mixable 3rd channel. A splitter would work but that would put way to much steering in the rear. A 10% to 15% mix is all you would need to get around those tight turns.

Hope that helps! I can do some measurements and a parts list if you really want to consider it.

I think maybe doing a setup like some of the rock crawlers have, where you can turn the rear steer on and off might work good.

yeah that would be good and i guess the pivot balls on the rear would allow it to steer but how would you fit a servo saver and such in there

yea its not a racer or bushier I'm just trying to set it up like a crawler without all the torque and batteries in a electric crawler

There are a couple of ways to mount the servo. Mount it vertically and have the servo saver hang off the bottom or mount it horizontal and have the body of the servo stick out. The horizontal mount gives a little more room for travel. The Vertical mount doesn't stick out as much. It ends up being your choice. Just remember that the truck will be much more unstable in the straights so you will have to set your expo higher then normal. Like I said before it will be twitchy but it will turn inside a dime!
