Do any of the 1/10th SCT's handle 3s on the stock esc without adding anything other than the 4x4 slash?
 
Blitz SC15 -nope
Slash XL5 -nup
SC10 -uhuh
Strike -nah

TRX Velineon dun like 3s much either, gets a bit too hot so sez most ppl using 3s.
 
All I run is 3s on the velineon, just gear for it and it wont heat up. Its lame that none of them handle 3s stock, argghhh. Oh well, RPP has the 4wd's back in stock on tuesday.
 
Nope, as mentioned above, none will handle it. However, I did see a video of a guy with a stock Slash, and he ran a 3S lipo, and got probably around 10 laps around his track, and it finally went up in smoke. It was flying around there though! haha
 
brushed RC motors aren't really designed for anything more than 7.2V anyways
