What are the hardest to find scale parts? I know some people like to put their motors in a case so it looks like a real engine under the hood.
My friend and I are going to split the cost of a 3D printer and I want to try my hand at designing some parts to be printed and was wondering what the most commonly consumed item is.
The material used is sturdy enough for a decorative item for sure (like the motor case) and possibly a low impact scenario but i definitely won't be printing axles or frames with it.
I would also like to do custom design work for the rcnt fam.

I watched them use this process on Sons of Guns to make the body of a gun. It was pretty cool and must be pretty sturdy.

You could look at floor pans, engine bay panels and fender liners for 1/10 scale rigs.

I think it will be a neat way to practice CAD designs and help some scalers out.
