Well did some trading today. Ended up getting a new traxxas boss 302 vxl. I was suprised on the speed of this thing. Lol but I've been looking around and little to no upgrades. Any ideas? Anyone else have one?
 
If you get tired of the "car", you could convert it to a MERV. The RPM site says the Slash arms fit the Boss, but I'm not sure if there is any difference.
 
Yes its the 1/16 scale. And ill look into that Hpi-killer. Thanks. Ig I could gear it differently. And schrodemode I have seen those before but they switched to the mini erevo. I have a guy offering to trade his TA mgt 3.0. But idk yet.
 
They make all kinds of upgrades for the 1/16th Traxxas stuff.The only things that are model specific are the arms and CVDs or drive shafts. You can get just about anything you want for it.

If it's the VXL version, I wouldn't trade it.

I fugured there was upgrades somewhere. I just couldn't find a lot online. I haven't been to my lhs. I just got this thing. Its very clean. Id like to get a different body though. Not a ford guy. Lol
 
Proline has a Camaro body, it's for the Rally though, you may need a couple things to make it fit.
 
has anyone used the TOYZ chassis braces for the MERV

I picked up another merv with a broken chassis and was wondering how many people have broken the chassis before and if the braces helps or not.
 
It's supposed to help stiffen the chassis. I never really found the need for them even on 3s LiPo.
 
I also went to the lhs today. Going to get the rpm a-arms and a different spur gear and going to order a set of tires for this thing so I can actually hook up with this thing. any other suggestions?

Will also have some pics shortly.

Anyone know which brushless motor this is?

No clue what motor it is.

You might want to go with a bit softer spring setup and a center diff to help keep the wheels with traction going. I put a center diff in mERV to help keep the front end on the ground with a 3s LiPo.
