Since today was a nice day i thought i'd take out my buggy and finish the break-in phase on my buggy. So i had it running in a large backyard of a school across my mom-in-laws house and having a playground there some kids were watching seeing the car flying and tumbling through the air. Well, at one point i underestimated the distance of my car to a concrete socket of a light pole and the car stopped on a dime from a wide open throttle run. As i approach the car and give a little throttle to see if it moves it just sits there. And this is what i was confronted with:

It was a clear drivers error. I take full responsibility for my action in killing my car.
But i think i will look now into some aluminium or titanium lower A-arms :)

id stay away from aluminum arms. from personal experience use aluminum mounting blocks and c-hubs, and knuckles. leave the arms plastic since they are inexpensive and easy to replace. you dont want to go replacing pivot blocks and bent hinge pins when it could have only been a simple arm.

aluminum will just bend... and if u strenthen one part its gunna have a weak point to another part...

looks like you had fun lol.

and aluminum for the a-arms isn't the best idea since it'll just bed if you hit anything. my advcice is to just stock up on a-arms if you're inclined to hit poles and the like :hehe:
