RC Driving Style
Well I called HPI and found out the release date for the 3 speed tranny has been delayed until late Jan early Feb, the price has not been finalized but it will be between 60 and 80 bucks which is reasonable, so much for "just in time for christmas" just thought some of you might want to know.
 
how fast do you think it would go if you installed one in a savage? would it add any speed?

yea i saw the video on hpi and it looked like it was worth buying, 60 and 80 thats not bad at all.
 
I believe it's supposed to add 10% more top end and 10% more torque.

thats awesome me too on the vid.

i want the savage but can't aford it at the moment, and dont want to spend 530$ just hard to decide (thats with the hopups and all) i have a list i made it a wile ago but after dreaming i steped back into reality and was like thats a whole bunck of money so i think ill just get it when i have a steady job.
 
530? I've spent way more than that! this is an expensive hobby but well worth it. the three speed tranny was the tie breaker, I was looking at savage, mammoth, mad force and revo, been waiting for the tranny for months!!!
 
I'm getting the SS kit, The reasons i like it is cuz i can get the radio i want, get to put it together, and it comes withe the ribbed pipe. But I'm talking like I'm getting it, i may may not, i said i didnt have the money but i do i just dont want to part with it at the moment. I'm getting a buggy with a glow igniter included for 100 bucks so minus 20$ from that cost so it will cost about 510$ and if i got it right no i could save if they still have that great offer on tower, where if you buy so much stuff then you get like 40 dollars off or somfin. i may have to get it sooner than i was planning.
