i stumbled across this three speed conversion for the maxx from a web site for rad r/c has anyone done this upgrade, is it worth it?:\

i dont really do too much off roading in my t maxx the most air i might catch is flying off of a speed bump in the parking lot, but since i have gotten my 60 mph rc18t it makes the 1000+ dollar t maxx look a little obsolete so i want the t maxx to go faster

if you want speed, get an on road car... na only joking, I'm not sure how well they work, I've never tried one but the concept is there, so i can't see why it wouldn't work, not saying it would work well though

I'm pretty sure its going to wrk I'm just curious about the quality of construction, i dont want to put it on the truck and then have to go buy another tranny a week later (on a side note i am getting an onroad car, ntc3 coming in june :))
