RC Driving Style
Was trying to get the 3 speed dialed into today and having some problems with the correct shift points. Any tips out there that might help me out?
 
I'm assuming you know you have to adjust the 2nd gear shift point by taking the trans apart. What allot of guys did was turn the 2nd gear adjuster in one full turn and go from there. I did this on mine but haven't had time to run it yet. You can also turn the 3rd gear adjuster all the way in so it won't shift into 3rd. This way you can hear if your getting a good shift from 1st to 2nd and later on adust for 3rd. Hope this helps.
 
ah man I missed that part.. ugh.. Another tear down I guess.. So for the 2nd gear turn it all the way in, then one full turn back out? Or just one full turn in?
 
For the second gear engagement try just one full turn in. You can turn the third gear set screw all the way in so it won't shift into third just to be sure your shifting from first to second and not second to third.
