Get in there with a dental pick or x-acto knife and carefully pick it out just enough so you can grab it with a tiny needle nose. Good luck, hope you have an extra or two. Didn't your new piston come with two clips?

yea it does come with 2 new clips, but i was just wondering how to remove it the correct way. it's a pain in the a$$. thanks bro

Good tweezers work also. TRy like hell not to bend it. It's good idea to install new ones. They are really cheap.

rebuild complete!!!! Thanks guys! it's a good thing the new piston came with 2 new G-clips, cuz when i was putting it in the 1st time, while trying to compress it in there i tried to see where i was at and it took off on me. but the 2nd one worked great! lol thanks guys

well traxxas definitely did their homework when they decided to put 2 G-clips with the piston:hehe: if i had only gotten one i would've been cussing up a storm while i waited for them
