I've had the 3.3 bug for awhile now, so I'm goin' for it. I noticed they come with a few different shafts configurations. Which one do I need? I have a 2.5 with the old blue resonator pipe. I was wondering what parts are not recommended to reuse. I have a brand new ez start, an 18t and 20t clutch bell. Should I go ahead and get a new fly wheel? I plan on getting new clutch shoes and a couple of springs. Is the header compatible and will that old pipe work? I'm also open to other engine ideas, like O.S. for example. I would really like to reuse as much as I can right now, and change some things out in the future. Any info would be awesome, as I'm wanting to get one ordered today. Thanks as always.

This info was pulled from the tmaxx parts list engine replacement info sheet. Keep your clutch assembly(flywheel, clutchbell et. all), ez start, engine mount and exhaust header/pipe, they are all direct bolt ons for a 2.5 to 3.3 upgrade. As far as the engine you need, get the model #5407:3.3 with IPS Shaft and pull starter. The pull start can be removed and the ex-start can be put in its place. You can use the same exhaust pipe, but the new tmaxx polished aluminum resonator takes full advantage of the 3.3's available power and performance.
