Okay so i have a 3.3 now in my truck its fun does its job but i want some thing over the top mean!!! I want a big block and i mean BIG. So can you let me in on a good bigblock motor that will fit in a t-maxx with amazing power. And what kind of pipe to go with it. And is their anything else I'm missing beside's the motor and pipe. Money is not a problem so i can get anything, just dont have the knowlege of what to get. Thanks guys

When shopping for an engine don't be fooled by cheap oversized gas hogs. What I mean is, don't think that a cheap .32 is gonna whip a quality .26. They all have their strong points and weak points but get QUALITY first. The .26 picco is by far the best choice because it just drops in with a mount and that's it. It's not a true BB but it has amazing power. If you do get a big block then prepare for alot of asking questions on here. You'll need a ton of other crap and you'll end up with a heavy pig of a maxx.......That's my opinion anyway.

ya i have decided on the picco .26 does any one have one on their t-maxx that could share how it runs and tunes. just orderd picco .26 to lol can wait

Mine stays on the back two wheels most of time, since I put the picco in. It is night and day difference from the trx 3.3. Seccond gear wheelies are a snap.

You may want to get an extra pair of crank bearings for it too. I've heard that they sometimes go bad after break-in.

I ran a Picco .26 for a good while and it was a great engine. I ended up with a LRP .28 Spec 3 in there and it went from crazy to pointless. More power than can be used by any means. However that is with a ass load of mods to make the truck strong enough to stand up to that beast of an engine. No where near a drop in like the Picco .26

okay so i just got the picco in i over nighted it got it for 200$ does any one know how to break it in? So i dont screw it up. Thanks oh and i have all metal drive shafts dogbone's

Read the heat cycle sticky in the nitro talk section. Get a temp gun if you don't have one. I'd also seal that engine straight away before doing anything to it. Make sure you have the right glow plugs and that your fuel system is leak free.
