i have a jato with a 3.3 probobly have like 15 tanks threw it had no problems untill now. I was driving it and it died.. went to restart and needed a glowplug...drove for a minute had no power barly stayed running...replaced with another plug now it wont run. Motor turns over getting fuel have new plugs (tried 4) may run for a sec with freshly charged ez start on it but when i pull it off it wont stay running.Exhaust is making a diffrent noise more cracking instead of popping reving nice it just doesn't sound right ,checked fuel lines fine tried diffrent battery fine checked motor from glow plug hole it turns over. Tried putting car in the air and starting same problem Sometimes when it runs for a sec with ez start i can give it throttle and it will kind of run ver very sluggish then die sounds like crap tho any ideas?? I am slighlty experienced with tuning and the car this one just boggles me it isnt a tuning issue thanks guys

If you had one, it might have needed cleaning.
Since you don't, it's likely one of your needles is clogged with something that got through.

Pick up a Dynamite Big Daddy filter.

how do i clean the needles?? just unscrew clean and reinstall??? never had to do this before

Pull out the HSN assembly. slosh the needle and the valve assembly around in denatured alcohol and blow it out with an air hose. Several times, just to be safe. Make sure you also check your O-rings for dirt or tears.
Replace the assembly and reinstall the needle to the proper setting. Test it out. If it works fine, you won't need to do the other one.

Ignore the idle needle arrow. The pic was originally for another post.
Right now you're only interested in the brass part next to the arrow.
Remove the fuel line, needle and loosen the nut and remove the banjo fitting. Then remove the seat from the engine.

just tried to turn it over for a sec and i heard a nasty pop and now i have nothing and my flywheel is stuck can't even move it with a flatblade screwdriver did i snap the con rod u think???

I hope not. Pull your glow plug and see if you can turn the flywheel. If not, try to push it down with something that won't scratch the piston, like a thin wooden dowel. If it slides down without the flywheel turning, you threw the rod.

i did throw the rod wtf....does traxxas warranty anything?? any clue what caused it typical problem or what??
