I've had my 3.3 for about 2 weeks now. Broke it in according to Squirrels method, and it has run fine till yesterday. Tuning was good, it didn't lag when i gave it throttle, didn't run too hot, everything was good. Then yesterday while driving it, it suddenly (and I do mean suddenly, out of no where, without warning) started high revving, higher than I've ever heard it do, and not moving too much. I looked to make sure that neither of the jets had adjusted on their own, and they hadn't. Glow plug is in tight, and the wire is good. I tried running it again today, and it ran for about 5 seconds perfectly, then went back to high revving and no power. If I pick it up and give it gas, the wheels spin and the engine acts like it did before yesterday. But if I put it on the ground, I get high revving and no power at all. Any ideas before I tear it apart? I'm kinda bummed, was supposed to take it to show my brother tomorrow, cause he's thinking about getting one too :( Any help at all will be appreciated guys and gals! Thanks in advance!

KCCO,
Aaron

[Edit] I don't know why I didn't notice this, but my return line (I'm guessing that's what it is) from my exhaust to the fuel tank is like...green colored...while the rest of the fuel lines are blue. Could this have anything to do with it? And, since I'm assuming that the green color is bad, what's the proper way to clean a fuel line? ... Yes, I'm a noob :)

1st thing to chack would be the slipper cutch adjustment. The nut in the center of the spur gear adjusts the slipper clutch, if it is too losse the slipper will slip too much and cause lack of power to the drive train.
Adjustment procedures are in the manual.

Yeah, I agree with Snook Man.

My TMaxx slipper had to be tightened "slightly" (doesn't take much to tighten it up) not long after running it in too. It did just like your describing.

I had the same thing happen. Try the slipper clutch first. Mine was the pin screw on my primary gear broke.

yeh my slipper let a pad go after a few tanks past break in... didnt think to check that when i first got it cuz i was new to it all.

Thanks a ton guys and gals! Problem solved. The nut on the slipper clutch was definitely loose. Fixed that and blammy! It lives!!! Ya'll are awesome!

KCCO,
Aaron :)
