went to jackson hobbies site, my hobby shop 3 times more traxxas stuff. www.hangarhobbies.com BAD LINK DONT USE.

Yeah they are a small shop but they have a nice track with sanctioned races every other week

to: hipluther01 rebiulding a 3.3 is easy. i did it just to get the experance. just get the piston and sleeve, its eather $45. or $65. get some permatex ultra slick engine assembly lube 81950, put it on the inside parts, it will smoke when its started so dont worry.. that lube is good for ball bearings aswell. if you dont want to do it ill bet one of good dudes on this site would do it for you. heck ill do it for you. i am not talking about porting just piston and sleeve. iam NOT ready to port yet.

Yeah I've rebuilt a few, its usually a good idea to also replace the connecting rod when you do a rebuild. That about another $20. For just a little bit more I can get a new Traxxas mill. Brand new in the box.

Where do go about buying 100% Nitro? What else is it used for? I want to give this a try, mixing my own fuel. Where do I start and how should I go about finding seller? thanks in advance for any info.

to: hipluther01 man o man a good track and races. i havent done any racing yet but do like watching. i just got my truck back together. i put a 72 tooth spur gear on. it moves out very fast but top speed is low cause it donst go fast enough to shift into 2nd gear. good to hear you know your way around a 3.3

Sounds like you need to adjust your shift points in the tranny. That should help it shift into second.
