i was looking for a new engine for my revo and was just thinking a 3.3 cause i don't want the drive train issues of big blocks. Any other sb that are good? sides the .18tm
RB 323 is pretty good, even the 523. RB is a good mill, with heaps of power, and pretty reliable in their tuning. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_23_79/products_id/6151
Thats the 523. can't seem to find a listing for the 323. They may have been superseeded. Anyway the 523 is a really good mill. You'd enjoy it.

the Rb does have plenty of power. although they present another problem parts availability is extremely limited (I.E. engine mounts stripped mine can't get one anywhere). A piston and sleeve kit for when it looses pinch is $150 bucks hence why I am buying a new 3.3 Friday to drop back in mine. I just don't think RB are cost effective. I would suggest a picco.26 maxx if you really need the extra power at least you can get parts easier and if needed a piston and sleeve are still only $70 bucks.

Actually I will agree with that. I believe the Picco .26 is still a small block, and will drop straight in, and they do produse BAGS of power, although it will probably cost you in drivetrain eventually.
Of course if you just want a little more power than the TRX you could just go FOC if you havent already, and lose the EZ Start for a starter box or even a pull start.
That'll give you a little more.
For me the 3.3 has enough power for what I do. When the engine goes out on mine I think I'll just exchange or buy another 3.3. The FOC made a difference for my Revo, I still need to lose the EZ Start. When I get my next motor, I'm going to order some kind of roto start backplate.
My driving skills, while much improved, probably aren't up to handling a bigger engine than the stocker.
+1 on the 3.3. I run mine on the rich side, less BSC'ness when it grabs 2nd down the front straight, plus the plume of blue smoke gives me a clue as to where I should start looking for it when it jumps over a berm and hides. Walter (my pet Revo) plays a lot of hide-and-go seek with me at the track. Come to think of it, I'm really beginning to hate that little bastage....
The 21TM is about the same power wise as the 3.3. The 3.3 is faster and snapier on top end than the 21tm, but the 21tm has more bottom end torque and holds a tune much better. The 21TM is way overpriced IMO though.
