3.3 engine

i have a question i want to know if the 3.3 engine in the jato are the same as the ones in the revo... my motor in my jato lookes better than the motor in my revo. so i want to swape them out.... am i able to do this with out changing anything..

They are the same exact engine you will be fine.

Yes, a traxxas 3.3 will be a 3.3 in any nitro model.

They are the same engine. The swap should nothing more than unplugging the easy start and unbolting the engine from the mount.

thanks.. thats what i thought.. i didnt swape them out cause i found out the the motor on my jato is only a 2.5..... i can't rem if it has the big block conversion or not....

if you're using a 3.3 and a 2.5, then no.

The clutch bells may be different sizes. Keep that in mind. Anytime you take an engine out of a vehicle is a good time to do clutch maintenance. Light sanding inside the bell and on the shoes. Make sure the bearings roll free and smooth.
