Is there a better aftermarket cooling head that does anything performance wise

I don't think you'll see any performance gains, but you will see better cooling.
Better cooling is not needed however, and can actually lead people to running their engine lean.

RB MODS has one that is a turbo head for the 3.3 that they claim gives you another 1000 rpm and about 30-40% better cooling.
