having a bit of bother with ma new 3.3,been running a 2.5 for about 3 years now and never had this problem.it's a completely new truck i started with and from the very beginning even while running in,when full throttle is applied the truck bogs down, holding it on makes the engine die and starting it with fuel line pinched shows as not having much fuel in engine.i know it's leaning out but no amount of adjustment on carb is helping.i've had tank off and checked for leaks, replaced fuel line and filter, and it was doing it with original pipe before i put resonator on,i've also recently changed fuel to byrons to try and put an old carb in,still plagued with it.it pops wheelies at about half throttle and engine seems very happy with plenty of blue smoke unitl this happens.any ideas or anybody else had same problems with this engine, possibly front bearing letting in ait although it seems to effect it at any engine speed :stick:

na,been running them for a few years now,can set high speed needle at 5 turns out and still runs fine, doesn't seem to be a leak at carb so will be yanking engine out later and have a check of front bearing, never had a problem with them on 2.5 but i've heard it mentioned about 3.3 once before

5 turns out is WAY too rich. Start turning it IN till it sweetens up. Keep a smoke trail, and watch your temps. Leaning too much will cause it to run too hot.
