Will a 3.3 body fit on my 2.5? The 3.3 is supposed to be longer, I would'nt mind drilling new holes if I had to, but will it fit between the front & rear bumpers without being kinked up?

I think it will...not 100% positive though. The easiest thing would to be go on to the Tower website and see how long each of the bodies are. What part of AR are you from? There are a couple guys on here from there too.

The 3.3 is longer than the 2.5. The bodies don't interchange so it won't be possible to use a 3.3 lid on a 2.5.

Ok I just looked it up the original bodies are 18" long and the 3.3 is 19.5" long. It might kinda fit but would look funny.

will work fine. put one on mine. rear posts line up perfect with ez start opening. drill new holes for front posts. front of body tucks behind stock front bumper without kinking and looks fine.you may have to trim front valance area a little. hope this helps.

I'm in southern ar, Camden to be exact. I only know of one other guy that's into rc around here.

I would think it is possible even if you had to modify it, these are like models, anything is possible, i mean come on, duel engines, 6-8 wheels, two trucks put together, all t takes is some ingenuity and creativity, i made my own body out of a roll cage under the maxx forum threads post maxx hear and home made mods, as well as someone else who made there own roll cage, i would think it is possible even if drilling is needed, measure, like it, drill it, put t on...:)

I have an old 2.5 body that's beat up...then i have an old proline body for a 3.3 (i think) thats a lot thicker..but it was cut and cracked when i got it...then i cut on it more, made a fuel tank & ez start motor cutout....and i'm still not happy with the way it fits in the rear...got some more rigging to do.

I'm having trouble finding a good selection of 2.5 bodys. I don't want a clear one, i want it already painted. Been looking on ebay...just seems like there ought to be more to choose from.
