My T-max 3.3 is not shifting into 2nd gear, I tried reading the manual, it says to adjust the shift point. Can someone advise on this. I'm affraid if I keep running this way I will tear some thing up.......:D

The engine has to be tuned right for the engine to reach enough rpm's for 2nd gear to engage. An out of tune engine is usually the cause of not shifting, not the shift point. If your sure the engine is tuned in, only adjust the shift point in 1/8th turn increments, keeping track of where you started.

Thanks,

Ok, well I guess I will keep trying. Thank you for your advise.....:)

shift point adjust?

I read the manual about the shift point, It says there should be 2 screws, one of wich you do not mess with. I am not finding these screws where it says they should be. How do i adjust shift points. I need some help. :)

They're in there. Look down the hole, and move the spur gear a little at a time, moving the wheels, until you see it. It should be the one off on an angle. It's pretty easy to notice I guess. I've never had to mess with mine. I watched my buddy adjust his once though.:) The screw you want will be the one that's deepest in the case.

Thanks,

Thanks, I'm gonna check that out. I'll get back with ya later. thanks again.

can you easily hear the shift? I think mine might not be shifting either, but I'm not really sure lol
