I have reciently acquired a brand new wasp .28 I am wondering if all .21 and larger pipes will work with this large engine, or once you hit a certain size, they make bigger pipes??

All .21+ pipes will 'work' with the .28, but some will work better than others. I ran a vantage CF pipe with the .28 and put out some nice torque. I also ran a CVEC savage pipe with a Wasp .28 and it put out some nice low-mid power.

They don't make bigger pipes until you get up to the .46 range.

yeah, you'll see that some pipe manufacturers are making pipes for larger size engines starting around .25 or .26. If your lookin to pick one up check the For Sale boards. I believe NitroRocks is selling a THS pipe designed for .25-.28

RD logics, Tsais, and THS all make specific "larger" BB pipes....but I found the HPI ribbed pipe works great for big engines.....didn't notice any difference between that and the expensive Tsais pipe I tried last time.....

Sorry I did notice the HPI pipe was WAY louder....buut loud pipes save lives could be yours next....

That means people know where you are coming from... you need to silence it so you can sneek up on em, then, BAM! :hammer:

nah the only person I ever hit w/ my truck was intentional.....I smashed the prick good too....ever see someone fall cause their legs got swept out from under em???? well picture that but instant leg removal...I thought I was watching a cartoon it happened so fast.....everyone was rolling laughing......oh well some people are just D-U-M Dumb

Yeah... I can picture that in my head... LOL Anyway, i bought an HPI ribbed pipe for my GT... We'll see how it works..

Go with the ofna JP2 pipe. I have been running it on my nieces truck with an sh .28 in a lst and it just makes the world of difference. Just remember if you are going to a roar sanctioned race the biggest engine you could have is a .28
