.27 in a buggy?

I just got my Lightning 2 Pro and it needs an engine. It just so happens a friend of mine is getting out of R/C all together and he is selling a basically new Fantom .27 cheap.

My Question is should i get the Fantom or will it be too much engine?

i have that in my savage and it is a great mill so far. got about a 1/2 gallon through it and trying to get it tuned. i keep getting a mid range bog after it warms up though. i think it i need to lean out the high speed needle a lil but temps are running around 230
