Finally ported my S25. Seems like it is going to run a lot better. A little harder to start than it was, but not finished tuning it.
I got it together late Sunday and it was running hot. I opened up the high speed needle valve quite a bit. Got it out today and was going to tune on it.
I had took a piece of masking tape, wrote myself a note which way the rod was pointing and put it on my head.... In a hurry to get it running, I left the tape on the head. Was running about 190 when I started today. Got it about 240 now. I feel like a total moran.

Engine seems like it has more power and turning more rpm's. Thanks to everyone that has posted about it. Hardest thing was the crank and I didn't go as far as they said to.

nice to hear it worked :winnar:
do you have any useful websites on porting etc which maybe useful to others and me who want to port there engines

i wonder what kind of speeds i'd get doing this to the k46. may check into it.

the article is specific to the S25. do NOT use the specs and sizes in the article for your K46... will most likely end up with a paperweight.

There are still some articles out there that are for porting engines in general.
The article I used was specific to the S25. First thing it says is "Stop right here if ya can't afford to trash your engine."
If ya don't know where the 4.6 needs work, don't mess with it. Might take it apart and smooth and polish some places?

Read the article and look around for more. I didn't really understand it. When it came to cutting on the crank, I got scared. Didn't cut as much as he did. But it worked out.
Good luck. If ya try it let us know.

I have modded 10 S-25's so far and they all run great..I actually went more on the crank and exhaust timing on the last and it's the strongest running one so far.
