Anyone have any tips . As the title says the .24 XTM wont start. I bought this used from Rush and can't seem to get it to start. got hot glow ignitor, good glow plug, umm good rotostarter battery, fresh blue thunder 20%. I can hear a diffrence were it seems like is going to start. Have tried leaning the HSN a bit to see if it would fire. Took out the GP and blew out the cylinder. Dont know what is wrong any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried opening the throttle while turning it over? You may be too rich on the low end.

First try the throttle, if that doesn't work try leaning out the low end.

If it sounds like it's trying to start, it's close to where it should be. Outside temps make a difference. If it was set when the temp was 70, and now it's about 40, it won't start as quickly. Leave it inside and let it warm up, or use a hairdryer on the engine, then try again.
Plug the exhaust to prime it till you see fuel reach the carb.
First, raise your idle trim and see if that helps. If it still sounds like it's trying to start, keep spinning the starter while leaning the LSN slightly. Make note of where it was originally. If it still doesn't want to fire, set it back to where it was, but this time start to richen the LSN while spinning it.
Starting, idling, and take off are all in the LSN. The HSN is for WOT, so adjusting that will not make it start any better.

10-4 that i got it to frire outdoor temps were the biggest thing i think. After the first time it started it went very good. Truck is fun and wheelies on demand. Thinks for the advice. Rolex didnt think of it that way HSN being for top end so it makes all the sense in the world it wont do anything. Thanks for the adive all.
