I look forward to reading replies to this also.

I run a Picco .26 and was thinking a trying a 24 T CB to cut the monster wheelies down a tad.
 
I run a 22t cluth bell and a 54t spur I get a very strong take off, and when I want to shock ppl I change to a 18t cluth bell, talk about take off but be carefull not to hold down the throttle to long as you may over rev the eng
 
Go for it. even a 3.3 can pull a taller gear.
