So I broke down and purchased an O.S. .21 RG today and I am curious..how do I get the clutch and flywheel off of my Sportwerks .26 so I can put them on my RG? I have never removed a clutch on one of these before and I am rather stumped. :(

Once you have the engine out, take off the screw that is on the end of the clutchbell. You will have to hold the flywheel as you unscrew that screw. Once that is off slide the clutch bell and bearings off. Now the clutch will be exposed and you can take that right off. Just slide the shoes and springs off. Now you will see a big nut holding on the flywheel. Hold the flywheel again and take that nut off. Now the flywheel should come off the engine but if it is stuck carefully pry it off with a screwdriver. Make sure you don't pry against the bearing, but do it against the block. And then you're done.

Pay attention when you take the clutch off so that it will make it easier to put it back on your new engine.

just bend the clutch springs away and replace them w/ new ones.....if the shoes show wear replace them too...
