2 speed

I have an RS4 RTR 3 and I was wondering if anyone can help me. I put in a 2 speed tranny, and the 2 purple gears on the engine work, and the black gear closest to the engine works, but the big big black gear will not hook onto the smaller purple gear. When i pull the car up off the ground it works fine but when on the ground, it will not go :argue:

Any ideas

It's odd that one gear will work and the other won't. Did u make sure when u put the engine back in that u lined it up correctly?

Yes, I think the gear is stripped

I'm not being a smart ass, but did you put the gears in the right order?
also, did you tighten the engine mount screws?
Two obvious things, but something that people miss.
