2 speed problems

I've been having problems with the 2 speed on my aftershock. When it goes to shift into 2nd. it won't engage. I can hear the engine rev up, i let off the gas and it pops back into 1st and runs good. i've just put new clutch shoes on it. (broke one... oops). and now i'm having the trouble. if anyone could help me it would be appreciated.

are your set screws in the clutch out the same number of turns? how many turns out are they?

both screws are 6 turns out on the dot. factory setting is 5 and it wasn't kickin in so i loosened it one more turn and still got nothin.
