What are all the differences from the 2.5 and 3.3? (Besides engine of course)

Thanks

Unless it's a 2.5r there are many differences. The trans, shafts, diffs, and a few other parts that won't interchange with the 3.3.

I'm sure its just a few things like...

Grey(3.3) plastic instead of black...
The plastic body is different
Talon or Geode tires(3.3) instead of Chevron tires...
Possibly a bigger chassis ( but dont quote me on this )
And I've been told the the driveshafts and axle carriers are stronger.. But that is second hand info and not from me..
And we found this out first hand by converting a Maxx classic to a 3.3 that the Trans is different..

Ok, thanks for the info. guys. The reason I ask is because my brother is thinking about converting a t-maxx to brushless. He came across a good deal on ebay for a used 2.5 classic. But I'm thinking he should go with 3.3 model to hold up to the power of his brushless system.

It would be cheaper to find a 4908 roller(extended chassis, better diffs and bigger shafts, forward only trans). It would be even easier to find a 3905 E Maxx.:)

the 2.5 drivtrain wont handle the power of a b ba brushless (hate saying that word)
even the 3.3 4908 will get eaten up. center shafts, and diffs wont last.
the new brushless maxx has many updates to handle the power, like steel tranny gears and stronger diff carriers.
