2.5 tunning!!!!

hi all, got the truck up and running again today, had to change another spur gear and engine mount, had it running around the garden fine, it seems that when it gets warm it likes to cut out alot when idle'ing, its bogs down sometimes when trying to take off, i wld think that its all to do with the lsn and hsn but for the life of me i can't get it right, tried back to factory but it stays the same, cuts out and or bogs down, i gather that boging down is where its running to rich, there was a small bit of unburt fuel coming out the exhaust so i leaned it up a bit only to have trouble starting it! have ordered a new glow plug as the one the hobby shop sold me is the wrong one! any other ideas? i think when its all up and running tidy its being sold! only driven it for about 10 mins a time as i can't deal with it breaking or stalling anyore.

You are probably too rich on the LSN, for take off anyways.

how old is the 2.5 ,i have 2 2.5 and a 3.3 and as soon as they warmed up would bog or stall no top end .turns out the piston and sleeve are worn pulled all three and on 2 of them i could push the piston about 1/8 of the top of the piston out through the top of the sleeve with very little effort.so i sent the 3.3 out to have a repinch done should get it around tuesday or wednesday .....


maybe you have the same problem sounds same to me
