hi i was needing some help removing engine bearings from my 2.5 any tricks?

When i do it i find a socket to lightly tap out the front bearing, then i heat he oven up to 325, i put the block in for about 4-8 minutes, then take it out and i tap it on a wooden butchers block, the rear bearing should pop out. If not reheat the block again for a little longer and repeat. Good luck on the rebuild.

Always heat the block before removing or installing bearings. Put your new bearings in a ziplock bag and freeze them before you install them. Lightly grease them first too.

Nothing too it! Until you get a hold of a engine that the sleeve sticks, connecting rod refuses to come off the crank.... Ohhh the joy. A Nitro Star .25 made an evil bastard out of me after 3 days trying to get the sleeve out! Lol

Been there done that!!!!!! the first time i rebuilt an engine it took me forever to figure out how to get everything apart then it took putting it together 3 times to get it right! the 3rd time was to double check everything!! lol.
