I've decided to buy a T Maxx just not sure which one. Is there much difference between the 2? Is the 3.3 worth the extra $140 odd here in Australia?

there is a bit of difference in the 2 I think the 3.3 is worth it but I guess it comes down to how much you are will to spend
how much are they selling them for? have you thought about buying one from the states?? try amainhobbies.com or tower hobbies and compare the prices

LHS has the 2.5 for $520 & 3.3 for $650 I'll have a look at those websites and do a compare

Just checked towerhobbies with postage to Aus came to $750 for 3.3, buying locally might be the way to go... $650 just seemed like a lot for a 3.3

That seems very steep from tower
Most of the traxxas gear is on special atm and I wouldnt imagine that shiiping would be any more than 150 but I could be wrong

Btw I payed 850 for my first 3.3 maxx locally

Shipping came to $199 prices above were Australian dollars... Leaning toward the 3.3 I figure its got to be cheaper in the long run, instead of upgrading engine and driveline etc in 6 months time when I want more out of a 2.5. Also the 3.3 at my LHS is 2.4 digital, that's got to be a plus as well

3.3 is the way to go! With the current dollar, $650 total for a 3.3 is an okay price.

depends on wat u doing with it. if u are serious about racing and willing to spend a lot in racing the 3.3
but if its just a small hobby u like to do the 2.5
