Hey i was driving my revo(this was before my opti-drive broke) and was going fine. the weather was around 50 degrees. then as time went by the engine started to bog down until it was at a point where i could hold down the throttle all the way and it wouldnt stall, it would just go like 1 mile an hour. I then let it sit for 15 minutes, started it back up then it ran fine again until it happened again. after i shut it off i noticed that exhaust was coming out from the head.

Hi

Sounds like you are running mutch to lean, richen the HSN halv a turn an try again. And hope the engine hasn´t been damaged already. Good luck!

but why was exhaust coming out of the head? and I'm running at a pretty rich point right now, lots of blue smoke

It sounds like you have a bad, or out of 'square' seal on the head. Remove it, and clean the gasket and the mating surfaces of the block and head. When you put it back, spin the screws in ONLY finger tight, then turn each one slightly in a criss cross pattern. Pretty much the same thing as putting a head on a 1:1 engine. Doing each one slightly each time makes sure that the cooling head seats flat. I usually make about 6 passes before it's tightened all the way down.
Loosing compression there is most likely what's causing the poor performance. You'll probably need to retune when you have it corrected.
