2.5 engine help

hi guys i need a new 2.5 engine for my tmax can you please direct me to the best place to buy one from and would it be worth while putting a 3.3. in

If you have an engine already, traxxas offers a cool engine swap program. I just did it myself. When replaicing with a 3.3, you may need to upgrade a few more parts. Diffs, tranny, etc. You can just drop a 3.3 in there, but you'll be chasing parts eventually.

A forward only conversion is all you need to keep the tranny happy. With a good slipper adjustment, the shafts will hold for a while. You'll want upgraded shafts and 3.3 diffs eventually.
