2.5 carb ?

took a trx 2.5 off my old rustler. put it on my tmax.worked fine on the rustler but tried it on the mx and now it seems it just screams wide open and the idle is only at abiut 1mm but it will not adjust .The screw will turn but does nothing.

It's probably cracked.

is your fly wheel spinnig??? and are the tires moving when it is wide open on you??? if yes then your clutch spring probly broke in your clutch bell.

the big problem is no matter how i adjust the idal screw it does not move the slide at all.
i have no clue what would cause this .

Are you adjusting the idle with the linkage connected? That could keep the carb from moving when you adjust it.

another thing that will keep it from axually adjusting it is if the lsn is either to lean or way to rich. one or the other i think it would be lsn is to rich so it would be to loose in there to adjust it.. I had that problem the other day

i took the motor off the truck but still no adjustment(very very little) but thank you i will check the lsn when adjusting the carb idal you should be able to adjust it all the way closed ,Right ? not that you would want to but should be able to . cause i can't
