Called the lhs last night and asked if they had an OS .18 tm for a revo. To my surprise they did so I went down to pick it up. The clerk took it out of the box to show it to me and got a confused look on his face. The motor has the fins on the bottom so Iwould have to grind them off, which I've heard of people doing. The label on the box says "18tm t-maxx revo manifold". I've seen them on websites with t-maxx or revo manifolds but never both. Anybody know what the deal is?

That crossed my mind also. It's got the header for rear exhaust but it also has the fins on the bottom of the motor

You don't have to grind the fins off for .18 TM. They should fit revo or maxx with different header.

Here is what a .18 TM with Revo header should looks like.

Hope this will help.

No it doesn't. I installed the flywheel & clutch bell before taking the pictures :D

It is Integy Aluminum 3-Piece Clutch Flywheel.

Maybe I am wrong. LOL. I bought it long time ago and took it off from my maxx.

Try ebay, you should be able to find them.

Opss. I am wrong! The 3 shoes still on my maxx.

The blue flywheel you see in pic is made by RPM (2 shoes)

I am wrong again!!! What is going on with me tonight? LOL
I am sure this time. It is RRP (Robinson Racing Products) flywheel.

The .18TM with the revo Manifold is made specifically for the REVO. You can also fit it in the T-MAXX. If you get the .18 TM with the T-Max manifold you WILL have to file down the fins. They have two different bodies. See my instructions on how to install the T-maxx version in a REVO.

The only way to Fit the T-MAXX version in your REVO is to buy the manifold and engine mount from New Era Models made for just that. I got sick of waiting for the REVO version of the .18TM so I just got those parts.

I am pretty sure it is RRP :D

I hope I am not wrong this time because I have few in my parts box.

Was wondering what kinda starter are you going to use?
Or should i say if your not going to use a starter box or the sleazy start...
Was wondering because i wanted to get an idea of total cost involved before i go and sell the 2.5r

I did have to grind the fins off the the bottom, it would not fit in the stock motor mount
