18 vx engine

ok this engine comes in the wind hobby behemoth, hsp tyranosaurus, redcat tornado and a few other trucks and buggys.

i have the behemoth and i need to know if the engine is and good?
i would have tested it but the truck needs a little work and engine has no pull or drill start.

also if anyone has it i need the factory carb settings, the guy i got it off on ebay had messed around with it but until then I'm using a 12 engine carb.

I have that engine in a Redcat Tsunami Truggy and it is a blast. Good power and speed. Factory settings are 2 1/2 turns out from fully seated on both hsn and lsn and I run it on Byrons Gen 2 20% nitro. Hope that helps.

are you sure its 2 1/2? normaly when put to factory the needles sit flush with coller or a little over, mines still far in. i also run byron gen2 20%.
