if i were to purchase the o.s. .15cv-x engine the throttle would be on the wrong side when i mounted it. is it possible to turn the carborator around or would that damage the engine?
 
No problem at all. The cool thing with a T-maxx is that the brake can be engaged by either pushing or pulling, therefore you can spin the rotary carb in the direction you desire. BTW I have an OS .15 cv-x for sale (cheap) in the buy/sell/trade forum.
