hi everyone. havent been posting anything to often lately just reading. anyway is it ok to put a glow plug that would normally be used in a .15 type mill in a .18?

i dont really know how i would search for an answer like this, if you find some info on it can you post the link and what key words you used. thanks

Danny all GP's will work.
weather it be a .12 or a .21 ECT....
You just have to look at long and short plugs...Heat range and of cource the turbo plugs will only work with a turbo head...

really? because at the hobby shop i go to i have to tell them the type of mill I'm using and then the packag will say .12-.15, .16-.21 or something like that.

wow i didnt know that. thanks ZANDOR

as zandor said, they will all THREAD in, and work. However, they will mostly require a slight retune of the engine.

General rule of thumb is that you want a Hot plug for less nitro % (5-15%) and a Cold plug for higher % (20-30%). Generally the larger the engine the colder the plug as well.

Other than that, Just about all plugs can be used in all RC engines. Just make sure to only use Turbo Plugs in a Turbo engine or you'll break your piston!!!

A turbo plug will not even screw into a standard plug hole. You are right.I have found that hotter plugs do run best in smallblocks. But I have ran hot plugs in bigblocks and 30% with great success..
