Will the .15fe be a good choice in the ntc3 rtr? and will it just drop in? And which ojne do you guys recommend? AE.12 v. .15 fe ?

:normal:

You'll probably have to cut the crankshaft. The 15fe is probably one of the most entry level engines there are. It's a really weak engine. Reliable, but weak.

What's your budget for an engine? Personally, I wouldn't bother getting an entry level engine, i'd just wait until I have enough money and get an engine that will compliment the chassis.

OK well when I get the money i will go with the fantom .15

One question, are you at all EVER planning on racing or even thinking about racing? Cuz a .15 won't be race legal.

I personally don't race, but probably will someday, so I always buy race legal motors in case I get the urge.

Also, don't doubt the power of a .12 vs. a .15...my novarossi can keep up just fine with pretty much if not all .15's

Well i guess the fantom .12 will do:hamster:

I agree, the .15fe is a DOG!. It's based soley on reliability, and as stated above, an entry level engine all the way. If you're looking for a good upgrade engine, I'd go with that Fantom .12, or the Sirio .12. They both have PLENTY power, and are a little bit less $$ then their .15 counterparts.
