I am about to get an Airfield t28 800mm rtf plane. It's stock battery is the one listed in my title. Can I put an 11.1v 2800 or so battery in with no changes? If so, what can I expect for flight times? Stock runtime with the 800mah battery is 8-10 minutes.

If it can handle the weight and size of the bigger pack, there should be no issues. The voltage is what matters, and being both packs are 11.1 or 3s lipo.

Like stated befor voltage will not be a issue, I think being that it is going in to a plane that size and designed to use a small battery it might be a problem because you are talking about almost tripling the capacity of the battery and the plane might not be able to handle the extra weight and could effect other things like balance as well. If you do give it a try one other thing to remember is to make sure the batteries C rating is the same or higher as the current batery you are using.
