Tower Hobbies has a sale right now on Redcat.
One of them is a Marksman 1/8th 4x4 RTR for under 300$, normally 400$.
I have never heard of this model. Anyone have any experience with this RC? Some of the videos are hot and cold.

Anyone have any opinions of this car for the price?

They also have the Everest on sale for 209$ which is a 10th scale crawler normally at 279$.

Thoughts?

I saw that 1/8 scaler the other day and checked it out. It does look pretty cool. I would go check out aftermarket parts support for it if I were to consider buying one.

The only Redcat models I have heard really good things about on here is the Gen7 and Gen8 models. I seem to remember hearing the Everest wasn't that great? But I could be thinking of something else.

In case anyone else is thinking about it.
There is also this "Blackout" 1/10th scale car. Looks pretty cool too.
Anyone else have one?

My rig is the Gen7 but fully modified. The Everest 10 is a good crawler but not much you can mod on it other than electronics, but with that being said, it has to be a short can. I've posted the wife's yellow Jeep, it's the Everest 10.

1/8 sounds cool.

Have you looked at this 1/8 scaler at all? I was curious as well if anyone here has looked at it.

Not very deep but I like it. I'm like you, I would want to find after market parts first.

Redcat sells what they call hop ups for the car.

I guess the Marksman is very close to the "Wendigo"

I'm like y'all the 1\8 scale crawler sounds good.
