Just read on another site that the Prime Day will also be available for trial users, so you could in theory sign up for the 30 day free trial, get the deals and free 2 day shipping for 30 days.

It's not available to me. I guess it's only for people who have never had prime or it hasn't been long enough that I cancelled it.
